Happy Halloween!

So I went to the Halloween store at the outlet mall and met up with Malinda, Jessica and family. They helped me pick out some awesome earrings for my costume. I'm trying to decide what color of tights to use though. I have hot pink or whit. Any suggestions? Any other opinions you might have regarding the costume would be nice too. Love, peace and chicken grease!

One Week!

Wow! One week left. Time has gone so fast. I have 5 days left of work. Bye Target. Thank you for the memories and the friends. Target friends, you BETTER stay in touch! I will miss you tonz! Troy, Liz, Sarah, Jimmy, Cameron, Dustin, Kevin, we better hang out again before I leave. I'll miss you guys the most. :( Come visit when you're in SLC.
Let's see, what else needs to be done before the move. We need to pack more. I think we'll pull out a suit case and put what we'll need in it for the next week, and pack everything else. Need to leave out the PS3 and the Wii for a while. Randy's sister Stacie is going to come hang out tomorrow and game with us for a while. :D That should be fun. Stacie's such a cute girl. I hope we'll be really good friends some day.
Well, I'm off on a box hunt. Wish me luck. At least I'm still at Target for another week so I can get more boxes if I need to. Ha ha. Talk later.

Work Injuries

Since my promotion to signing specialist from clerical, I have recieved many, many more
injuries. This first pic is of one I did almost 2 weeks ago, on Monday the 8. I was pulling a plastic brochure holder off some pegboard, pulled to hard, slipped, and scrapped my hand on the brochure holder next to it. A big gouge was taken from my left hand, on the knuckle of my pointer finger. Ouch! It's still incredibly sore. Hopefully it will heal soon.
The second picture has a good story too. Yesterday, I was working on hanging a bunch of curtain and shower curtain displays. (Oh my heck, what a pain those can be.) Any way, I was starting to get a migraine. My eyes were starting to blur and fog over. I kept working because I had a lot of work to finish this week, and I needed to get my 40 hours in. I went to open another box of displays, pulled out my box cutter, and the next thing I know, the box cutter was sticking out of my hand. Because of the migraine, I couldn't see or feel that my hand was in the way. Ha ha. At that point, I decided it would be best to just call it a day, and go home. No need chopping my hand off because of a migraine. Good thing I did go home that day, because that was one doosy of a headache! Not sure if there was a storm coming in that day or what, but I was on my butt or "worshiping the porcelain god" that day like no other.

Count Down: 2 Weeks

Two more weeks in St. George. Time has passed so fast. We only have 2 weeks left at work. Only 2 weeks in our little apartment. There still aren't any openings at Target in Salt Lake. I'm not quite sure what we're going to do. If I don't get a transfer, we loose our insurance.
We're both excited to be moving closer to family. I can't wait to start the next journey in life. 2 weeks left to get everything in order.

Girls' Night Out!

So tonight, my friend Malinda and I had a girls night out. It was SO much fun! We started the night out with a nice dinner from Panda Express. Instead of "the usual", Malinda and I decided to try something new, so we got the Panda Bowl. It was so good! I got chow mein and topped it with orange chicken. Mmmmm. After dinner, we headed to the spa. One of my good friends, Kim, gave me a gift card to her spa for a pedicure. Having never been to a spa or had a pedicure before, I asked Malinda to go with me. We show up at St. George Day Spa, and my cute friend Kim was there. :D So, Malinda and I got to choose a nail polish color. Malinda always paints her toes a pink color, and I always do mine in blue. Since we were being "new and spontaneous" we decided to switch it up. Malinda got a really pretty blue-green color, and I got a purpley-pink color. After being totally pampered and enjoying a bit of girl talk, Malinda and I went to Cold Stone for some ice cream. Mint ice cream with brownies and chocolate topping for me, and marshmallow ice cream, grahmcrackers, brownies and chocolate topping for Malinda. We enjoyed a little more girl talk, and this wrapped up a pretty awesome and much needed girls night. :D Thanks Malinda and Kim!

Random Thoughts

Moving day is getting closer. Part of me is totally excited, while the other part is wondering what I'm doing. Leaving my friends and especially my family (Kevin, Troy, Liz, etc.) is turning out to be harder then I thought. My relationship with my cousins down here has grown immensely. I will miss them more then anything!

On the other hand, I get to be closer to others of my family. I'm thrilled to be closer to Emily and Auntie Cas. Hopefully I'll get to strengthen those relationships that have been on hold for the last 3 years. :D

So many thoughts. Trying to put thoughts into words was never my strong point.

A few things left to pack. Only a few pictures left on my wall. They're the only things left that make the apartment feel like home. Only 3 weeks left.

Ready For A Change?

So, it's time for another life changing event. Looks like Randy and I have decided to move north to Tooele. Totally random and unexpected move. I'm still trying to decide how I really feel about it. On one hand, there is nothing for Randy down here. No jobs, no future, no family. He feels like he's stuck in a rut. I don't blame him. At times, I have felt this way too. Target has been pretty good to me. We've always had enough to just scrape by. Insurance is covered through Target, we're on our own, doing what we want. How much of that will change when we move? If I can't get a transfer, we loose our insurance. Randy is quitting Target, so how long will it take for him to find another job? Will this job be better then Target? Or will we be S.O.L.? So many questions that need answers. But those answers won't come until we take this huge leap. Well God, I am now leaving my life in your hands. My faith and trust is completely in You! Maybe that's what needs to be learned from this move. Maybe I need to learn to trust in the Lord more. Here goes nothing!
