Since my promotion to signing specialist from clerical, I have recieved many, many more
injuries. This first pic is of one I did almost 2 weeks ago, on Monday the 8. I was pulling a plastic brochure holder off some pegboard, pulled to hard, slipped, and scrapped my hand on the brochure holder next to it. A big gouge was taken from my left hand, on the knuckle of my pointer finger. Ouch! It's still incredibly sore. Hopefully it will heal soon.
The second picture has a good story too. Yesterday, I was working on hanging a bunch of curtain and shower curtain displays. (Oh my
heck, what a pain those can be.) Any way, I was starting to get a migraine. My eyes were starting to blur and fog over. I kept working because I had a lot of work to finish this week, and I needed to get my 40 hours in. I went to open another box of displays, pulled out my box cutter, and the next thing I know, the box cutter was sticking out of my hand. Because of the migraine, I couldn't see or feel that my hand was in the way. Ha ha. At that point, I decided it would be best to just call it a day, and go home. No need chopping my hand off because of a migraine. Good thing I did go home that day, because that was one doosy of a headache! Not sure if there was a storm coming in that day or what, but I was on my butt or "worshiping the porcelain god" that day like no other.
